Asian Flair

You've probably caught on by now that I'm in love with exotic influences and traditional costumes! So...imagine my reaction when I spied this Chinoiserie dress in a gorgeous bold red hue while out thrifting recently! For a fun modern mix I paired it with black patent platforms and a gold mesh clutch.

    This post - and ravishingly lovely dress - is so topical to me, as I've been thinking a lot lately about how I wish I could find a vintage Asian dress that looked good on me (mandarin collars rarely on me and that rules out a lot of dresses like this). I found one online last night that I just adore, but it's leagues beyond my budget, so for the moment it's just a wish list item and in the meantime I'll draw inspiration for whatever Asian dress I eventually add to my wardrobe from your enchanting look here.
