I came across this photo that my husband Dylan took of me when I was still living in Mobile, Alabama last year. This was a fun vintage bridal look we did, featuring my dear friend Mary's dress that she wore for her wedding in 1965. This picture makes me miss the beautiful historic neighborhood I lived in- so quaint and quiet. I will be back to visit next weekend and I can't wait to catch up with my sidekick Mary and have a ball being silly putting together outfits and thrift shopping just like old times! You can see some of the other photos I shared previously here.
The hair! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!!! Love it! Nice muff:) Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bride, beautiful background. Looks like Old Government St. where I lived in 1958. Vintage style meets the present. Good job. Love you, Grandma
ReplyDeleteHow enchantingly gorgeous! When my husband and I married (eight years ago tomorrow!), we had a very small ceremony (less than ten people) that was held at my parent's house and I didn't wear a formal wedding dress. Of course this doesn't really matter, as the important thing was what transpired (our union) that day, but part of me still yearns to wear a beautiful vintage wedding dress like this one day (which, hopefully will happen, if we have our "dream" vow renewal ceremony in a few years).
